FBI raid on Mar-a-Lago could've just as easily gone the way of the Branch Davidians
Trump's lucky they didn't firebomb the joint!
Q. What was David Koresh wearing when he was found in the aftermath of the government’s raid on the Branch Davidian compound in Waco, TX?
A. Charcoal trousers and a smoking jacket.
In light of the revelations that the FBI, in its August 2022 raid on Mar-a-Lago, was prepared for (and perhaps even gleefully anticipating) employing deadly force against Donald Trump and his Secret Service detail, I can’t help but think that it’s lucky for all concerned that Janet Sterno wasn’t in charge of the operation.
The FBI’s heavily-armed, heavy-handed raid on Trump’s Palm Beach, Florida club and estate was no more justified than the ATF’s 1993 Waco massacre which resulted in the deaths of 76 residents of the compound, including Koresh and some two dozen children.
Just as Donald Trump was cooperating with authorities (and had instituted the FBI’s recommended enhanced security measures to safeguard classified documents in his possession), “cult leader” David Koresh was hardly a recluse, routinely left the compound to appear in town, and was on cordial terms with the local sheriff. There’s no reason to believe that he wouldn’t have cooperated with authorities, even if that included being taken into custody and submitting to questioning. But, like the FBI at Mar-a-Lago, Janet Sterno had in mind something far more dramatic and theatrical.
And tear gas and firebombs certainly provide plenty of drama and theatrics.
So I guess it’s a lucky break that the Mar-a-Lago raid didn’t devolve into piles of dead bodies and smoking rubble.
(I suppose that one might also say that Trump is lucky that the FBI didn’t shoot and kill his dog, shoot his son in the back, and shoot his wife in the face as she held their infant, as that once-trusted and revered agency did at Ruby Ridge, Idaho in 1992.)
But don’t rule out that or a similar or even worse scenario, because the forces that have vowed to “Get Trump” are still assembled and still committed. And with each failure, they grow more desperate.

Not only that, but recently released papers from the Obama administration tell us that every document the FBI said was in the possession of Donald Trump ... was ALREADY in the hands of the National Archives. A copy was supposed to be given to the National Archives, thus Trump was not holding anything the Archives didn't already have.
So very heartening to hear someone has their facts razor straight about Ruby Ridge and little young Sam who was ANNIHILATED IN THE BACK and his poor mother SHOT IN THE FRONTAL FACE (and they LAUGHED) as she was holding her little newborn… bet they high-fived each other! So extremely sad, it’s difficult to register… not quite the way the national controlled news media spins the story… Stu, you and that STACK O’ STUFF (God bless dear Rush) are quite RIGHT ON!! bro❤️
