Wouldn't it be great if Trump were to call a press conference to announce his latest Cabinet picks, and started out by declaring that his new Surgeon General would be “Doctor” Jill Biden?
And then he could explain, “Well, I actually need to give credit for the idea to Whoopi Goldberg, who suggested that ‘Dr. Jill’ would make a great Surgeon General because ‘she’s a helluva doctor; she’s an amazing doctor.’”
He could then reassure the crowd that he was “Just kidding,” and proceed to announce his actual choice from among the actual doctors who are likely candidates for the position. Those are rumored to include the Nigerian-born, Harvard-educated Dr. Joseph Ladapo, currently Surgeon General of Florida, who has also expressed interest in being Secretary of Health and Human Services.
Another rumored to be on the short list is Dr. Jay Bhattacharya of Stanford University. What he and Dr. Ladapo have in common is that they are both medical heavyweights who weren’t shy about speaking out publicly in opposition to the lockdowns, forced vaccinations and other draconian edicts imposed on the public during the COVID-19 pandemic. Dr. Ladapo is known (and was excoriated) for refusing to comply with COVID mask mandates, and for advocating (along with Florida Governor Ron DeSantis) that Florida businesses buck the Centers for Disease Control’s protocols calling for forced masking of employees.
Dr. Bhattacharya, an epidemiologist, is one of the authors of The Great Barrington Declaration, a petition challenging the official COVID response. The declaration’s premise was that the cure would prove far worse than the disease; that the lockdowns, and all the consequences thereof, would prove to have caused more suffering and even death than the virus ever would.
Among those consequences are widespread poverty and hunger; ruined lives and livelihoods; suicides, drug use and other mental health issues; and excess deaths from undiagnosed or untreated cancers, or resulting from other medical treatments and procedures postponed, canceled or otherwise re-prioritized.
Dr. Bhattacharya predicted that historians of the future will look at the world's COVID-19 lockdowns as "the single biggest public health mistake, possibly of all history, in terms of the scope of the harm" that such policies have caused.
The declaration advocated that, while those clearly at risk from COVID-19 -- chiefly the elderly -- should be afforded every means of protection available, those not at risk -- essentially the young and healthy -- should be afforded the opportunity to live normal lives and develop herd immunity. The declaration called this “Focused Protection,” and was largely informed by the Swedish model. Readers may remember that Sweden did not lock down in response to COVID-19, and yet had lower death rates than other European countries that did.
Although The Great Barrington Declaration (issued in October 2020 and so named because it was written at the American Institute for Economic Research in Great Barrington, Massachusetts) didn’t get a lot of mainstream press coverage (as it was in opposition to the government’s official COVID narrative), far from being discredited, repudiated, fading into obscurity or forced to recant, accrued some 870,000 signatures from all around the world, 60,000 or so of which were from medical scientists and practitioners.
Keep those figures in mind when you're told — by the likes of Dr. Anthony Fauci (a wannabe dictator if ever there were one) — that anyone who dared to oppose the official narrative about COVID-19 and the official edicts for lockdowns, mandates and other draconian restrictions is an outlier, a rube, a "science denier" or even a wild-eyed, tinfoil-hat-wearing conspiracy theorist.
It seems only fitting (and even deliciously ironic) that Trump would fill Cabinet roles with doctors who had stood in opposition to bureaucratic policies regarding the virus that was exploited, perhaps even deliberately, to successfully cripple our economy and undermine his presidency.
Was there a deal made with China for the release of that virus (“the Wuhan Flu”) for the express purpose of torpedoing Trump and restoring power to the Deep State? Am I a wild-eyed, tinfoil-hat-wearing conspiracy theorist for even suspecting that?
I think we can be confident that Trump’s Cabinet will be populated by persons chosen for their qualifications, rather than for merely “checking the right ‘woke’ boxes” regarding their ethnicity, their sex or their sexuality as were President Biden’s Transportation Secretary, Pete Buttigieg; his Press Secretary, Karine Jean-Pierre; his Assistant Secretary of Health and Human Services, Dr. Rachel (formerly Richard!) Levine; or even his Vice President, Kamala Harris.

So far, so good 👍 for the cabinet picks. They will all need LARGE INDUSTRIAL SIZED BROOMS to sweep away the current waste...
