Greetings to my readers and subscribers, both old and new. I’ve recently picked up a couple of new subscribers who found their way here from my latest piece for American Thinker, even though I haven’t posted anything on this newsletter in more than a year. And it hasn’t been a very inspiring year, which is part of my excuse for not writing. I’ve had a couple of injuries, a couple of surgeries (nothing really major, but still…), have lost a couple of dear friends, and in general feel as if the pace of aging has significantly picked up in the past year, a year in which I passed the three-quarters-of-a-century mark.
I too, am discouraged and disheartened and a whole lot of ‘disses’… an’ dis n’ dat, too!!
Thank you for the remembrance of our marvelous, amazing Rush Limbaugh. All the time I am missing him. 😔
If you would like to ‘meet me in St. Louis’, at his grave, please let me know. I would prefer to visit with someone who loved him and understood him well, as opposed to my just going alone.
It’s a pretty long drive for you though; however, it’s only about an hour and a half from my really robust rifle-toting redneck region…
I can’t find a single mistake in it, nor could I think of anyway for it to have been written any better… 👍🏼 I wondered what had happened to you… I was a somewhat concerned by your absence and I was hoping you were still alive… I see now that you’re just like a Timex watch…!!!
